1.    OPEN HOUSE, THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 22 at 6:30

From 6:30 - 8:00 on Thursday we will be having an Open House for our parents and community.  The format will be brief bells schedule that allows the parents to move from period to period.  This will allow them to meet each teacher in their student's schedule.  We will kick off in the gym at 6:30.

We will be using our Early Release bell schedule for classes on Wednesday, September 21.

  3:00     Flu Shots are available

3.     SUPER SPREAD SHEET TRAINING:

There will be a Super Spread Sheet training on

Wednesday 6:30 in Room 440.
Thursday 6:30 in Room 440.
Friday 6:30 in Room 440.

4.     ANNUAL GOALS:

Starting next week, supervisors will begin to schedule meetings for your annual goal setting.  Early next week an agenda will be sent to you that will outline the contents of those meetings.  Please review the agenda prior to meeting with your supervisors.

5.     VISION DOCUMENT:

The Site Council has been working on a document that captures the OHS vision for school improvement.  You can access this document on VIBE.  Take a look at it and offer your feedback.

In the end, we want this document to spell out what it takes for each set of stakeholders to insure that we are meeting the needs of our students.

6.     COPIER NUMBERS:

Last year I mentioned that I was going to get our copier set up to track copier usage.  I have finally been able to get staff codes assigned, so that each person will have their own code.  This will enable us to see which departments have the greatest copier demand.

Last year we made 1.2 million copies and ran out of our paper allocation by semester.  I have not yet begun to track our paper usage, but this will help inform our use of resources, so that we can allocate things accordingly.
